Sonia’s work is very
ethereal and layered, yet at the same time has a strong
sense of physicality. Cities provide her artistic inspiration.
City spaces, physical and psychological, rendered into abstractions.
Lyrical, architectural,
colorful, luminous; Sonia makes use of watercolor, acrylic
and digital manipulated images to add lines and colors to
city maps, creating strikingly beautiful images. It seems
that her stock of imagination power about architectural
beauty will never end.
